A TALE OF TWO MOTHERS

Our almost special Mothers Day show will feature a tale about my ‘actual’ Mom (and some ‘how cold was she’ was sthick), my radio Mom (The late Randi Steele) and events they were involved in that lead me to broadcating on WBCQ, commencing over 25 years ago.
We will also present a ‘Headlines’ segment, discuss many current events, play some quality music, and otherwise bring you another edition of the best variety show on the radio, The Extravagonzo.

TONIGHT ON 11l/RNI

Your favorite radio personality (and a bad personality at that!) will return this evening, ably assisted by Dave ‘THE’ Boogie Man, as I recover from my medical ‘procedure’.
All things considered, I feel significantly better, but have too many things to follow up on to have had anywhere near the time required to produce a full show.
Therefore, when I run out of steam and production, Dave will follow me, and fill the remaining show time with some of the best music ever recorded… much of it new to you, and yes, it is MUSIC YOU NEED TO HEAR! I will be on recording with a tune or two during Dave’s time.
And I doubt I would have made it on the air at all this evening, if not for the assistance of the best damn niece one could hope for.
Toni Ann helped me get a lot accomplished in recent days. Frankly without her assistance (as usual) my lazy ass would have gotten far less done. So, this show is dedicated to her. LOVE YA TONI ANN… your assistance is oh so appreciated.
And… I may actually get my shit together yet… Thanks to her! Left to my own devices (most of them requiring batteries) I’d still be far up shits creek, aimlessly wasting my time… as is my wont.

THE STATE OF THE UNION IS ‘MEH’

If the Joe Biden on display last night was to debate Deadbeat Donald tomorrow, Trump would be finished. He would look and sound every bit the policy free, cognitively compromised clueless demigod he his.
The State Of The Union (SOTU) is ‘Meh”. Biden has not been a disaster, but I don’t think anyone could have done much better. Certainly not Deadbeat Donald who surely is not the answer to the nations problems, unless revenge, retribution and the end of democracy are ones reasons to vote for the aberration that is Deadbeat Donald.
As SOTU speeches go, it was good, not the usual bland presentation, and it was way more political than most such speeches… as it needed to be!
Joe sounded the alarm, warning against 4 more years of Deadbeat Donald hell, without ever mentioning him by name. Biden did not dignify Deadbeat Donald in that way.

A regular 11L-RNI listener inquired by E Mail about my reaction to the Repugnican thing named Katie Britt, who gave a ‘rebuttal’ to Uncle Joe’s speech that was replete with lies spouted at a Deadbeat Donald level.
And as I am not on the air again until the 17th of the month, here is my reply.
She is another example of a MAGOTT of the first order. But who could be surprised? After all, she is a Senator from… ALABAMA!

Well, the so-called FBI whistle blower Alexander Smirnoff, tuns out to be a Russian plant, a Russian spy, a Putin placed tool used to discredit Uncle Joe, and aid Vlad’s favorite dictator-in-waiting, Deadbeat Donald himself.
Smirnoff turns out to be a Russian spy… and also has had contacts with…China! Nothing to see here? Hardly pal!
