A regular 11L-RNI listener inquired by E Mail about my reaction to the Repugnican thing named Katie Britt, who gave a ‘rebuttal’ to Uncle Joe’s speech that was replete with lies spouted at a Deadbeat Donald level.And as I am not on the air again until the 17th of the month, here is my reply.
She is another example of a MAGOTT of the first order. But who could be surprised? After all, she is a Senator from… ALABAMA!
Performing from her kitchen (where I’m sure she believes all women belong… 24 hours a day) she made one BS claim after the other, defending Deadbeat Donald and a party without an actual platform… or ideas… or decency!
She made sure we saw her prominently displayed cross, an obvious shout out to the Christian Nationalist who are out to end our democracy, and replace it with the theocracy they desire.
I kept waiting for this sanctimonious shill to start speaking in tongues. Her delivery was that of a B actor, platformed only to appeal to women, as she unleashed lie upon lie.
This thing likely thinks she has a real future in the Repugnican party… and she may be right!
But this thing as a future POTUS? I will predict she is way too phony and MAGA typical, to attract voters outside of Deadbeat Donald’s core of supporters, explaining her success in Talibama.
What a waste of 17 minutes her screed was. She read an awfully delivered and scripted speech. It was so poorly done, that I believe her 17 minutes has allowed her 15 minutes of fame to expire!
A little Katie checking shows that she is rather well off, while passing herself off as someone the average American could relate to. She is just fucking typical of the type of politician that should be seeking other, more honorable work.
She said America deserves better than Joe Biden… and she thinks that means Deadbeat Donald… what more do you need to know about her?!
She supported Deadbeat Donald’s stolen election bullshit (OF COURSE), voted against bills that would help the middle class, and supports restrictions on a women’s right to choose what to do with their bodies… she is shameless.
And she heartily supported Alabama’s Vulnerable Child Protection Act, which criminalizes gender-affirming surgeries for transgender youths (18+). She is so typical, so central casting, so wrong for America.
In short, she’s perfectly exemplary of a hard core MAGA true believer, who also, of course, opposes any gun laws or other restrictions that she thinks will ‘compromise’ the second amendment.
Hopefully, she will soon be as forgotten as previous Repugs who have been chosen to deliver the rebuttal.
It is all this mediocre, counterfeit conservative deserves.
